Important Differences Between Cosmetic Surgery and Plastic Surgery
Although most people use the term “plastic surgery” and “plastic surgery” are used interchangeably, they refer to very different methods, procedures and practices.
Cosmetic surgery, usually refers to procedures that are used to enhance or alter the appearance of the nose, eyes, eyebrows or other facial features, including teeth (cosmetic dentistry). It is always elective surgery because it was not for medical reasons to improve the patient’s physical well-being.
Motivation far cosmetic surgery is often self-esteem. Cosmetic surgery can help people to remove or modify certain physical features that, as a consequence, makes them happier with their appearance and increases their self-confidence as well.
